At Hope in Christ Africa, we are dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for vulnerable children in Busia, Kenya, particularly through the Street Smarters Rescue Centre. Our mission is to offer these children a place to belong, grow, and experience the transformative love and hope of Jesus Christ.
Building a safe haven
The most important thing we want people to understand is our commitment to building a safe place for disadvantaged children in Western Kenya, especially through the Street Smarters Rescue Centre. We aspire to give children who aren't so lucky a place to call their own home, where they can feel secure and cherished.
Inspired by compassion
Our mission was born from witnessing the growing number of homeless and disadvantaged children in Busia. After interacting with many of these children, all of whom expressed a profound need for a home and a mother's care, we felt deeply moved to act. We hope to make a lasting difference by providing love, stability, and a brighter future for each child.
Daily care and support
Day-to-day, we provide comprehensive care for the children, ensuring they have nutritious food, safe shelter, proper clothing, and essential emotional support. This support comes from dedicated caregivers and the strong bonds formed among the children themselves. They thrive in an environment where they feel happy, loved, and part of a family.
