The Street Smarters Rescue Centre is a beacon of hope for vulnerable and street-connected children in Busia, Kenya. Our primary aim is to provide a haven where every child feels safe, loved, and valued, offering them a true opportunity for a brighter future. We believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive, free from the dangers and hardships of the streets.
Who we help
We extend our help to orphaned children and those abandoned on the streets of Busia. These children often arrive facing immense challenges, lacking basic necessities like shelter, education, and consistent access to food. Our center is dedicated to addressing these fundamental needs, providing a stable and nurturing environment where they can begin to heal and grow.
Nurturing their future
At the Street Smarters Rescue Centre, we provide a safe home where every child is loved and educated, with an equal opportunity to thrive free from poverty, neglect, and the dangers of the streets. Beyond academic learning, children are involved in sports, learning to sew and knit, cooking meals, and actively serving the community.
